The patented Blumags technology enables a compact design and superior force-to-weight ratio, which is particularly valuable for magnets at 500 kg holding force and beyond.
Built to Last
The housings across the entire product range are made from stainless steel, the obvious choice (in our opinion) for wet applications. Our magnets are made to last.
Deep Magnetic Field
Made from powerful neodymium sandwich cores, our magnets outperform the more common pot magnets in terms of magnetic field depth, making their performance less affected by paint, rust, and marine growth.
Customizable for Your Needs
Our underwater magnets are designed with customisation in mind. On all models, the standard rigging point can be removed and replaced by any kind of tool of your own.
Smart Storage and Shipping
All our magnets are shipped in compact IP67-rated tool cases with in-built magnetic shielding, safe for air freight. We do not charge anything extra for this.

Our History
The beginning
Blumags started with a bold vision: to create the world's best marine magnets for divers and ROVs. The founders spent countless hours developing and testing prototypes, establishing business relationships, launching the website, and managing every aspect of starting a new company.
2019
2020Company established
After extensive development, Blumags introduced its first diving magnets, Flipper and Willy. Willy 800 set a new standard as the world's strongest diving magnet with a one-handed release mechanism, revolutionizing underwater magnet technology.
Continual improvement
Building on the success of the initial launch, the design and functionality of Flipper and Willy were incrementally refined. Improvements included increasing the magnetic field depth, creating sturdier and more compact carrying cases, and enhancing overall durability to meet professional demands.
2021
2022Expanding functionality
The Willy Dive Grip was launched as an innovative add-on, enhancing the versatility of the Willy series. During this time, the Blumags team expanded with the addition of a dedicated Business Development Manager, bringing fresh expertise to operations.
The ROV magnet
Blumags launched the Moby 3200, a groundbreaking solution for anchoring work-class ROVs. Additionally, Tactical Editions with matte black coatings were introduced for Flipper and Willy, catering to users requiring low reflectivity in high-stakes scenarios.

2024Improved logistics
To enhance efficiency, Blumags relocated inventory to a robotic warehouse and secured an improved shipping agreement. These advancements ensured faster, cost-effective deliveries to customers worldwide. The team also grew stronger with the addition of a new Product Designer, advancing the company's commitment to innovation.
